GPT Brings Award Winners to Market

Graphic Printing Technologies (GPT) is pleased to announce that at the recent awards ceremony at the SGIA Expo in the USA, Mimaki picked up five prestigious awards, across a number of categories. This represents a great achievement for Mimaki and further cements its standing in the industry and its reputation for launching high quality new products.

The Mimaki JFX-1631Plus, and its smaller sister machine, the JFX-1615Plus both received separate awards for “Best Grand Format Roll-to-Roll UV cured ink” and “Best Flatbed rigid with white ink UV below USD$200K” respectively. These awards for the new JFXPlus range signify the recent successful launch of the product that sports higher productivity and spectacular quality – and is suitable for both volume board printing output and high end, specialist printing.

The Mimaki JV33-160 and its bigger brother, the 2.6m wide JV33-260 both received awards for “Best Poster size solvent or latex printer” and “Best Grand Format Roll-to-Roll solvent or latex ink” respectively. The JV33 series is available in sizes from 1.3m up to the aforementioned 2.6m machine and delivers a winning combination of speed and high quality, coupled to low running costs and excellent creativity.

Mimaki’s final award was for the “Best digital ink - flexible UV ink for Backlit/Display” category and went to the pioneering LF-200 ink set that runs on the LED cure UV machines that include the roll-to-roll / flatbed UJV-160 and the award winning ‘JFX Plus’ series of flatbed printers.
