The Epson Stylus Pro 9700 (44-inch) 5-colour printer is the latest version of Epson’s high-performance ink jet printing range. It combines the extreme precision of its MicroPiezo TFP™ print head with the extraordinary performance of Epson UltraChrome® Vivid Magenta Ink. This latest generation of Epson Stylus Pro printers represents a level of printing technology unprecedented within the print-on-demand, POS and Display Signage markets.

 

The Epson Stylus Pro 9700 is designed to deliver the very high levels of print quality expected from Epson at an even faster output. It uses advanced compression and decompression technologies to speed up data during printing. The machine features Epson’s new MicroPiezo TFP print head, which is optimized for the Epson UltraChrome HDR Ink subset and delivers perfectly accurate dots with virtually no misting or satellites. Epson Variable-Size Droplet technology (VSDT) delivers perfect smoothness and detail and can produce droplets as small as 3.5 picolitres.

 

The Epson Stylus Pro 9700 delivers high levels of lightfastness and retain colour and image quality for longer in both indoor and outdoor applications. The pigment inks are specifically formatted and offer water-resistance and excellent colour stability. This ensures long-lasting prints which are dry and stable very soon after printing.
